Barrel was a Lunimaster for the Luminado sect on Yashuvhu and was fiercely loyal to Tal Valan. During the Rebellion on Yashuvhu by the Yashuvhi Separatists, Barrel was one of Valan's field commanders, leading the siege on the Benadaro Senate building to fish out Mar'ber'tel.
