The PCs were asked by Lord Beresford to escort a friend of his, Mr. Gideon, and his new wife to visit her family in Constantinople. The family are involved in a feud, and she feared that if just the two of them went home, her husband would be drawn into it. Lord B offered to ‘sponsor’ the PCs as an escort. They would take the new Orient Express train.
