Popular Christmas music are songs from popular culture which have been released around the time of Christmas and/or are related in some way to Christmas. Popular Christmas songs often have little or no relation to the religious meaning of Christmas and generally focus on the festivity of the occasion and popular myths (although there are some songs which do have religious messages) The are different from Christmas carols, which are often have religious meanings and are generally more classical.
