Mayor of Metropolitan Borough of Lambeth 1928-1929 Schoolmaster, born in Gorleston near Great Yarmouth 1856 son of George Rundle King, a fishing smack owner. By 1871 he was ateacher in Gorleston. By 1901 he worked for the London School Board and later the London County Council and, had moved to Aytoun Road, Stockwell. By 1911 he was a headmaster. Died 15 October 1932.
