Lieutenant McPhail was the second officer for the USS Belleau Wood. McPhail gave Jackson Reichert an update shortly after he arrived to the ship's command and control center. He told Reichert that Guyet picked up a report about a burning cargo ship just off the coast of Somalia and that a helicopter was also spotted fleeing the ship. McPahil later woke up Spagnola and set a course for the cargo ship. (Rogue)
