Vudiv Kavan was a Human male born in 32 BBY. Originally a prestigious privateer trainer for hire, he later became a Rebel sympathizer. After several years in the Rebel Alliance, he became a valued member of the Alliance High Command, and was one of several Rebel officials who believed that stronger methods would be needed to defeat the Empire. In 1 BBY, he became one of five founding members of the Alliance splinter organization known as the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Faction, and was the leader of the Syin aviation subdivision.
