"In Between Life and Death" is the name of a music track in the arcade version of the first Dead or Alive. It is heard during the Continue option after losing a match. This version of the theme was later replaced in the Dead or Alive series by the new version of "In Between Life and Death", which first appeared in the Sega Saturn version of the original game.
