The Council of Immortals was a gathering of the rulers of the immortals who inhabit the earth. These rulers seldom met together. Their most important and celebrated meeting was the one held in the Forest of Burzee on the night Santa Claus lay on his death bed. This meeting was convened by the Great Ak, who suggested that the Mantle of Immortality be bestowed upon the Patron Saint of Children.
