Telfaulan gas was said to have been a rare and highly sought after gas produced by dropping Telfau stones into an extremely hot fire. In the fire, the Telfau stone would crack and the gas would be released. Telfaulan was believed by some to have been almost legendary for how it could make the sensitive spots in one's armor strong enough to stand against continuous attacks from blaster rifles and lightsabers at the same time. However, Telfaulan gas was noted to have been extremely hard to work with, very expensive, and it would take over fifty seven Telfau stones to do an entire suite of Mandalorian armor.
