This quest is given to you by Geoff in the Broken Valley Chapel. You can only receive this quest after you have completed Lovis's Loot. The priest Romon has disappeared into the scrying stone and you must find him. Geoff points you to a manuscript Romon was working on. Go to the Lake Shrine, and nearby there is a door to a cave at the very bottom of Lovis' Tower. Speak the phrase that you leaned from reading the document. Inside you will have to defeat some monsters, and near the back of the cave you find Romon dead. The reward is given immediately.
