The Charon colony is a small dwarf planet in a binary orbit with another named Pluto in the distant orbit of the solar system. The Sol Confederacy made the planetoid as a penal colony for criminals who have done heinous crimes. Since the confederacy was formed, the planet was made to make sure criminals and terrorists are much more distant from civilization. By their belief it should be a suitable place to live in harsh conditions rather than being on earth where they could escape before the end of their sentence, for the crimes they committed which earns the nickname Ferryman's prison as for many reasons naming it from the biblical mythology.
