The Cutlass-class Fighter is a common starfighter in the service of the Sith Empress, Darth Sirena, and the main line fighter of her personal forces. Designed by Imperial Iron Works, the Cutlass-class is manufactured in cooperation with Kuat Drive Yards and subcontractors in the Tion Hegemony and Corporate Sector. Propelled by three linked ion engines, its similarities to the classic SFS TIE line are largely skin-deep. As Sith Empire space was largely Imperial space, it was deemed essential that the TIE cockpit design be plagiarized in order to ease transition for veteran pilots.
