He was a Lieutenant in the Queen's Own Regiment, responsible for providing security details for members of the Royal Family. He and his platoon were assigned to Princess Ruth's and Berry Zilwicki during their voyage to Erewhon while representing Manticore at the funeral of Hieronymus Stein. He and his entire detachment were killed aboard The Wages of Sin defending the two young women during a kidnapping attempt by a group of outlaw Masadans. He was posthumously awarded the Adrienne Cross for his valor in the defense of the princess. (CS1)
