Ambassador Mauric was a high Kes representative on the planet Kesprytt III in 2370. The Kes wanted to join the Federation, so Mauric represented his species aboard the USS Enterprise-D, when the ship was ordered to file a report on the Kes' aspirations. Mauric was played by actor Robin Gammell. His costume was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1] In the script, Mauric was described as "a distinguished, impressive-looking humanoid, with all the charm of a refined southern gentleman." Additionally, the script stated his name was pronounced as "MOR-ik". [2]
