Bladegrass was a kind of grass. Unlike Silver Grass, Pasture Grass Meadow Hay and Gladegrass that grew on open fields like the Silver Pastures and Lakegrass that grew on the shores of lakes, Bladegrass grew in the Deepwoods, as likewise did Summergrass, Briargrass, Greatgrass and Sugargrass. There were no knows uses of Bladegrass, presumably because it was, as intended by the name, very sharp and therefore hard to handle or eat.
