Marcus Gibson (born 1984) is the oldest child of Jairus and Silvina Gibson of Severna Park, Maryland, and the older brother of Talitha Gibson (b. 1985). Marcus' father works in the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Dark Artifacts, Division of Magical Law Enforcement, U.S. Department of Magic. Marcus is a Quidditch enthusiast, stocky with short, curly hair. He entered Kaaterskill Academy of Magic in 1995 and was sorted into Bradbury House along with Ethan Lloyd. He becomes best friends with Kyle Stuart, with whom he shares a love of magical pranks and fireworks.
