Saul Hudson, better known by his nickname of Slash, was born July 23rd, 1965, in Hampshire, London, England. He is best known for being one of the founding members of Guns N' Roses and supergroup Velvet Revolver (with former Guns N' Roses bandmates Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan). He is often considered to be one of the best guitarists of all time.
