Chancellor Stern appears in Red Brick and Ivy. Stern was the chancellor of Leyland University. Dr. Alex Nelson gave a speech on campus and Stern introduced him. A short time later, Nelson collapsed and died in the middle of his speech. It was later revealed that Stern was the killer. While speaking, Nelson had been drinking from a bottle of water, which Stern had previously poisoned with cyanide.
