Heraclius I of Diadochia (1117 - 1062 BC) commonly known as Heraclius the Great ruling from 1100 to 1062 BC was the founder of the First Diadochian Empire (also known as the Heracleidae dynasty of Persica from its homeland. Under his rule, his empire expanded vastly and ruled an empire that was the first to unite the Diadochian peoples into a multi-national state. Heraclius was a member of the Heracleidae dynasty and the great-grandson of the legendary demi-god Herakles.
