Little is known about the Samurai Lord's early life, we do know that he was the ruler of an area of Japan. When his lands were threatened by Aku, shapeshifting master of Darkness, he gathered a band of warriors and attempted to stop him, but accidentally freed him in the attempt. Years later, the Samurai Lord had seemingly rebuilt his kingdom and had a son when Aku was released from his imprisonment. Aku managed to capture the Samurai Lord again before he could reach the sword. The Samurai Lord was last seen as an old slave of Aku, talking to his son before Jack tried to kill the demon.
