The RG507 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a black headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with dot position markers. Components include an Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut and Ibanez pickups in an HSH configuration which are mounted to the body with pickup rings. The RG505 is a similar model with a pickguard. The RG570 is a similar model which is sold in other markets. The RG517 is a virtually identical model with special flaked finishes which was offered in 1996 & 1997. The RG507 was discontinued after 1999.
