RustED is American metal band Stagnant's ninth album, released on September 13th 2003. The title is referencing Stagnant's 1997 fifth album Rust, much like Metallica's Load and ReLoad albums. The album also marked the first appearance of the Louis "Fattz" DeLaney, Kayne Ellet, and Luke Edwards line-up, which lasted until 2005. RustED is preceded by 2001's Ten Years of Death and followed by 2004's Zodiac. The songs "Caged Rats" and "Come Home, Son of War" are protests to the Iraq War, and remain constantly played at Stagnant shows. Starting with RustED, all subsequent Stagnant albums have been released annually.
