The Coat of arms of Bratislava has been in use since 1914, though it was restored after the communist when the Soviet Union collapsed on 1992. The holy crown in top of the Coat of Arms is known as a Bratislavan Crown, the crown comes from the crown that most kings used during the Kingdom of Bratislava during medieval times, Bratislava's coat of arms has eloved on the ages, the first coat of arms used for a Bratislavan State was made in 1378. The shield of the Bratislavan Coat of arms is divided in two, in the left side and right side according to the viewer's view.
