CTU New Orleans was a Domestic Unit of the Counter Terrorist Unit based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Just after 3:00pm on Day 1, Jack Bauer contacted Agent Watson at CTU New Orleans to alert that agency to the sudden disappearance of floating NSA operative Robert Ellis, who was murdered at the end of the previous hour during a phone call with Bauer. Later, somebody (presumably Watson) contacted CTU Los Angeles to inform them that Ellis' body had been discovered in a bar in the French Quarter, but there were no leads on the killer.
