Annie and Alex meet shortly before Annie passes over and after Alex has become a ghost. At first they are pretty shy towards each other but then they begin to like each other. They talk about their deaths and about the men with sticks and ropes, who they both saw after they have died. Annie tells Alex to not be afraid of them and that the men with sticks and ropes make a big show but aren't that dangerous as they like to appear. Annie also teaches Alex how to use her ghost powers.
