Bristol Rovers and Greenock Morton, originally known simply as Morton, have never met in a competitive match, but Greenock provided opposition for The Pirates in the 2010–11 pre-season in a game that Rovers won 3–1. The teams also met in 1983, when Morton beat Rovers 2–0 in another pre-season friendly.
