When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, most residents evacuated Da Wialo Kallai, resulting in the village being transformed into a Soviet outpost. In 1984, Venom Snake infiltrated Da Wialo Kallai to scout the outpost for intel regarding the captured Diamond Dogs officer Kazuhira Miller's exact location in Da Ghwandai Khar. He eventually found a document containing Miller's file, and scanned it and forwarded it to Ocelot at Mother Base.
