The premise for JLS was to further embark on the previous expansions of SVCC as set out by The Mandarin Language School and The French Language Schools. Conceptualization for JLS originated long before its actualization in Session 87. Starting with Session 87, the JLS program was launched with JA101 and the JLS staff as large as 7 volunteers. The enrollment was 12 students. The initial success of JLS would lead to further expansion via The Korean Language School. Today JLS offers programs for both children and adults alike.
