Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the sixth installment in the Splinter Cell video game series. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal. It was announced at E3 2012 and set for release in August 2013. Blacklist is a continuation of the Splinter Cell: Conviction story. Ubisoft confirmed the game will feature a detailed single player story campaign, a co-op mode that will be directly related to the single player campaign, and the return of the fan favorite Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode, last used in Splinter Cell: Double Agent .
