Ambrose Boyson (c.1806 - 19 January 1868) was a businessman and local politician in the Newington area of south London. Boyson entered business as a merchant in the City of London. By 1849 he was chairman of the Newington St Mary Board of Guardians, and by 1850 was one of the churchwardens for the parish. When the Metropolis Management Act 1855 created new local government bodies, Boyson was elected to Newington Vestry. He was chosen by the Vestry to represent the parish on the Metropolitan Board of Works. He remained a member of the MBW until 1866.
