League Two, full title Football League Championship Two, is the fourth level of football played in England, and the lowest in the Football League . It was created in 2004 as a re-branding of Football League Division Three. Rovers are currently in their second spell playing in League Two. Their first period was from its creation in 2004 until winning promotion to League One at the end of the 2006–07 season, and they returned to the division in 2011 after being relegated at the end of the 2010–11 campaign.
