Tug Ghyll is the home of Vanessa Woodfield and her son Johnny. The house was owned by Katie Sugden before her death and she moved in late 2013 after Debbie Dingle and her two children Sarah and Jack Sugden sold the house and moved into Mulberry Cottage. After Katie's death Leyla Harding and Vanessa kept living in the house, inviting Carly to join them when Leyla discovered she had nowhere to go.
