The Beat Poets are a Northern Irish, Indie-rock band formed on May 2005. The band comprise of John Dinsmore (Lead Vox/Guitar), Keith Doran (Lead Guitar/Vox), Mark Dinsmore (Drums/Percussion) and Johnny Cardwell (Bass/Vox). The Beat Poets have been working with producers Greg Haver and and Dave Way, the band will release 'Staring Stars Down' in August 2008, as the debut single from their first album.
