Sounder Flats was the site of a computer complex on the planet of Ruul. Craggy hills and deep canyons characterized this area of Ruul, making navigation to the flats extremely difficult. The area was also home to a pair of heavily-defended Imperial bases. Both the bases and the computer complex fell victim to an information raid by Rebel general Brenn Tantor before the Battle of Endor.
