The block was built in 1969, and contains 91 flats. It is owned by the Housing Association Gentoo. Together with Astral House and Planet House, these 3 tower blocks dominate the skyline of central Sunderland, and whilst they are 19 storeys high, the first floor is above the shopping precinct giving them extra height of 60 metres.
