April Donnelly is a character that featured in Cherry Hill. April was the social worker who Harry surprised Nikki with after the couple had discovered they couldn't concieve. Upon her arrival for their meeting, April continuously found things which bothered her about the couple, including the fact Harry had been previously married, the couples age difference and even their dog. The couple were heartbroken when she told them, she'd have to see whether they'd be put on the list or not, essentially meaning they wouldn't be able to adopt. Six years on and the couple seem to still be unsuccessful in getting a child. April was played by Lizzy Caplan.
