The United Kingdom was a largely populated European Union Country prior to the H5N1Z virus. In its wake contains the remnants of a destroyed civilisation. EU estimates no more than 2 Million people remain on mainland Britain and Northern Ireland although this is often claimed to be an inflated figure, and a Government in Exile has formed in nearby Germany. It holds this status within the new European Union, holding partial membership since ratification of the 2009 European Union Constitution. In international politics, its influence has been wiped out and has even lost its United Nations Security Council seat along with France to a collective EU one.
