The RG120 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a synchronized tremolo bridge, dual Ibanez humbucking pickups and chrome hardware. The RG120B is a similar model with black hardware. The RG172B is another similar model with an ash body and black hardware. The RG120 was available only in Japan and was discontinued after a single year of production.
