The Amended Proprieties Bill was an act passed by the Galactic Senate at some point prior to 33 BBY. It determined what conduct between government and business officials was appropriate and what was unethical and illegal. Statute 435, Substatute 1759 prohibited politicians and government employees from profiting, in any way, from advanced knowledge of government contracts, building proposals, etc.
