His egg became too cool for hatching, and the TzHaar-Mej wrote him off as dead. Mej-Jeh recruits an adventurer to help him hatch the egg anyway, to prove the other Mej wrong. The egg hatches, but is a Ga'al. Ga'al-Jeh is sent to the Fight Pit like other Ga'al. Players have to protect him, as Mej-Jeh wants to use Ga'al-Jeh as the subject of an experiment into giving the Ga'al memories. In the fight pits Ga'al-Jeh is accompanied by Ga'al-Xox, who manages to survive and plays an important role in the rest of The Elder Kiln quest.
