Weldon Leo "Jack" Teagarden (Vernon, 1905 – August 20, New Orleans, January 15, 1964) was an American jazztrombonist. He grew up in a musical family, his father played Cornet, his mother with whom he played pianoas a teenager many occurred. In his life he has with many artists, most prominent are Glenn Miller , Benny Goodmanand Louis Armstrong. He played with last mentioned in his all-stars band. He formed after a few years to have played at Armstrong, his own All Stars Dixieland band. Teagarden was one of the first white jazz musicians that was used in combination with black artists and recordings made.
