The Anaxes bombing was a terrorist attack carried out by the Imperial Nationalists on Anaxes, in response to their support of the Imperial Loyalists in the Imperial Crisis. Several commandos, led by Vladimir Makarov, landed on the planet and planted charges at a monument to a Republic Navy admiral, and set them off. A few commandos were killed by Alliance Security, though most escaped.
