Faramir is a character from The Lord of the Rings. He is the younger brother of Boromir, and a son of Denethor, Steward of Gondor, and Finduilas of Dol Amroth. He is the leader of the Ithilien Rangers, and is said to be descended from quite a pure strain of Númenorean blood.
