When awarding a barnstar to someone, make sure you have a good reason and present in a formal and gentle way. Don't overuse the barnstars you present to someone because a barnstar is meant to be earned--not to just fill in space in one's page. Barnstars are not meant to be used on article pages. When presenting it, post on the User talk page. If you received a barnstar, you may add that barnstar onto your User page instead of your talk page.
