They were pink or turquoise plastic and cooked cakes and cookies using a light bulb- it took forever but it was very cool! The Easy Bake Oven wasc a Classic hit of the 70's! You could bake mini cakes and cookies in your own oven since Mom wouldn't let you experiment with the big oven. I had one that was brown and orange. Cooking with a light bulb was never easier...but one catch, the bulb would get SO HOT it would warp the top of the oven. Truly a fire hazard.
