The Type-3876 Shield Generator was a capital ship shield generator produced by the Mikaru Corporation and later the Mustafarian Merchants Alliance. The Generator produced both Ray Shields and Particle Shields. A single generator could protect a large section of a capital ship, in numbers they could overlap fields generating stronger barriers. An example is the Allegiance-class Star Destroyer which featured four generators, creating an overlapping barrier that could protect the ship from heavy assault.
