Bryan Wainwright is a fictional character from the former British soap opera Evergreen Way, played by Jim Roach. The character first appeared on the 22 August 1980, five years after the show initially started, and remained in the show until the 7 July 1995. He made re-appearances in 1996, 1997 and 2000, and returned full time on the 17 May 2003 and remained until the show ended on the 8 December 2007. The character's main storyline was his relationship with Maureen Granger, but he also had other storylines involving a custody battle, a new businness and its destruction, a mental breakdown, a feud with a local crime gang, getting framed for fraud and having an affair.
