Gosem is the third child, and first daughter of the Son family. Born only a year after Goten, Gosem was only 6 years of age at the time of the Majin Buu story arc. Being the only girl of the family, Chi-Chi refused to let her fight with Goku and the others. Being the daughter of Goku, and sister of Gohan, she could not avoid fighting forever. When Goku left to go train Uub, Gohan also left to become a scholar. Gohan comes to visit every weekend, and when he does he trains his two younger siblings in ways of fighting.
