Shannon Phillips was a boy who's father was a demon named Astorath. He was constantly pursued by a man named Nathanial Blaque, who was his teacher and an occultist who planned to rule alongside Astorath. After he met the Ghostbusters, he sacrificed himself in order to return the Earth to normal, turning into a demon and going to the inferno with his father. Eventually, the Ghostbusters and Irena Cortez rescue Shannon and Irena offers to adopt him. He returns in issue #19 in the last story where he helps Egon and Janine free a troll in Mr. Stromboli's circus.
