Several different groups of criminals are inside Louis E. Grieve High School, and numerous teachers and students are trapped inside with them, including Darla Aquista and Tim Drake, the former Robin. Tim has managed to get a number of them to safety in the nurse's office, but he is relieved when Batman, Batgirl and Nightwing arrive via the sewers and are able to clear the gunmen out.
